Cleaning up

My hard-drive is full of music folders and files mixed with everyday computer use.

Should I only use this computer for music?

It's really late in the night for me to be thinking about this now. So I leave myself a post about it here to make sure I re think it later.

My Computer is so great. I can do anything with it and it never slows down or has any errors. It's the best one I got and it's super fast.

But keeping the folders and files organised and easy to find stuff isn't working out.

It's me that's doing it, and it's me that needs to adapt and save files better.

It has always been a struggle of mine. Organising things and finding them when needed.

I haven't got a solution or doing anything about it just yet. But I will seek advice and be back here with what I will be doing about it.

The files in question are,

  • Downloads for Drivers, Software, VST, Sounds EMails, PDF, manus ect..
  • Images from the web, my Phone camera, my Video camera, My car cam..
  • New projects I start and don't finish.
  • Projects demo and finial stages and Ableton files
  • Music tracks I make quickly and forget about.
  • Artwork for album covers
  • Pictures of studio gear.
  • and it goes on.
Hopefully I find a working solution

Project SION

I named the project SION and it became more challenging then I first thought it would be. The project has now ended and isn't made public, but you can peek at it on the link below.   YouTube link to project - sion CT2022 I would like to thank all that was involved.
