Cleaning up

My hard-drive is full of music folders and files mixed with everyday computer use.

Should I only use this computer for music?

It's really late in the night for me to be thinking about this now. So I leave myself a post about it here to make sure I re think it later.

My Computer is so great. I can do anything with it and it never slows down or has any errors. It's the best one I got and it's super fast.

But keeping the folders and files organised and easy to find stuff isn't working out.

It's me that's doing it, and it's me that needs to adapt and save files better.

It has always been a struggle of mine. Organising things and finding them when needed.

I haven't got a solution or doing anything about it just yet. But I will seek advice and be back here with what I will be doing about it.

The files in question are,

  • Downloads for Drivers, Software, VST, Sounds EMails, PDF, manus ect..
  • Images from the web, my Phone camera, my Video camera, My car cam..
  • New projects I start and don't finish.
  • Projects demo and finial stages and Ableton files
  • Music tracks I make quickly and forget about.
  • Artwork for album covers
  • Pictures of studio gear.
  • and it goes on.
Hopefully I find a working solution

Live Show - Ankes Cafe - Southend UK

Today has been the hottest day of the year in the UK. I went to Southend early to enjoy the beach, shame the tide was out but I still made a nice day of it before I headed off to Ankes Cafe for the shows. I didn't have much planed as I been working on a new album which is taking up most of my time. I started up with playing with the oscillators then mixed it into something I setted up last year. This is in my view, my first Live outside gig. I did do a live gig last year but under sad times. Today was different. I was more relaxed and not too much brain fog as you get from doing a live show for the first time. The video is 15 mins long and I hope you enjoy the shows. Ankes Live Music Show July 18th 2024

The Bud

The Bud. The hardest thing on making these soft tunes is staying awake while making them. I made a small tune, The Bud. Just something to listen to while I come up with more music ideas. As always, Enjoy. Listen on BandCamp The Bud is something like a seed. The bud is planted and who knows. It might grow to a tree.
